Live your LIFE without constantly worrying about your teeth.

If you're in pain, have several dental problems, or have been putting off treatment because you're nervous about what it might involve, you're not alone.
Dr. Brad Strong has spent much of his career helping people with exactly those situations. His approach is straightforward: find out what's wrong, explain your options clearly, and help you get the dentistry you actually need done as comfortably and efficiently as possible.
After nearly 20 years in dentistry, he's treated everything from everyday dental problems to complicated cases involving broken and infected teeth, root canals, extractions, dental implants and reconstructive dentistry.
That experience means there's very little judgment when you sit in his chair. The question isn't “How did your teeth get this way?”
It's “Where do we go from here?”

Dr. Strong understands that getting through a long dental procedure can be difficult, especially when you're anxious or need significant treatment.
That's why, about 15 years ago, he pursued advanced training in sedation dentistry.
Today, oral conscious sedation and IV sedation give appropriate patients another option for completing complex treatment comfortably—and can sometimes allow considerably more dentistry to be completed in fewer visits.
For Dr. Strong, sedation isn't simply another procedure he offers. It's a way to make necessary dentistry easier for the person sitting in the chair.

Whether you need one tooth fixed or haven't known where to start, the first step is simply finding out what's going on and talking through your options.
Dr. Strong considers himself a conservative dentist.
That means recommending the dentistry he believes you actually need, explaining the alternatives, and helping you decide what makes sense for you.
If a tooth can reasonably be saved, that's worth considering. If there are several ways to solve a problem, you should understand them. And if Dr. Strong isn't the right person to handle something, he'll tell you.
Good dentistry isn't about selling the biggest treatment plan. It's about finding the right solution for the patient.
Dr. Strong earned his dental degree from The Ohio State University in 2006 after studying zoology at Brigham Young University.
But some of his most valuable education came afterward.
Years spent working in emergency-focused dental practices gave him extensive experience treating people who needed help right now—toothaches, infections, root canals, difficult extractions and other urgent problems.
He's continued that education throughout his career with advanced training in implant dentistry, multiple years of the Spear dental curriculum, Implant Direct training, sedation dentistry and other areas of restorative and surgical dentistry.
The point isn't the number of courses.
It's having more options when your dental problem isn't simple.
Dr. Strong grew up in Springville, Utah, where one of his teenage jobs was maintaining campgrounds for the city in the nearby canyon.
He knew as early as high school that he wanted to become a dentist. He was fascinated by the technology he saw his own dentist beginning to use and by what modern dentistry was becoming capable of doing.
After practicing in Colorado, Utah and the Portland/Vancouver area, Dr. Strong eventually realized something else:
He was tired of big-city dentistry.
Rainier gave him an opportunity to return to the kind of smaller community he grew up around while building the kind of practice he wanted—a place where he could get to know his patients and provide everything from everyday general dentistry to advanced treatment under one roof.
There's a good chance you'll find Dr. Strong standing in a river.
He started fishing as a teenager and has been doing it for roughly 35 years. Today, fly fishing is much more than a hobby.
The Deschutes River has become a place to slow down, clear his head and recharge. And every year, he looks forward to getting away for a dedicated fishing trip—something that's become a bit of a personal pilgrimage.
At home, life includes his wife, four children and Pepper, the family dog.
